Ceyx and Alcyone
My greatest inspiration as an artist is easly Greek Mythology. In this case, I wanted to depict a story that was tragic as well as creative, so the story of Ceyx and Alcyone easily appealed to me. I put a lot of thought into this illustration, and the image is all the better for it. Planning always helps! I'm very pleased with this illustration, and I feel it's easily my best image in regards to storytelling. I definitely would like to push that aspect even further with my work, so you can expect more illustrations with a strong narrative in the future. Enjoy!
