Hades and Persephone
This was painted for an online art forum challenge. The theme was Greek/Roman mythology, so I had no choice but to jump in! I chose to depict Hades and Persephone in the underworld, and my goal with this image was to push myself as much as possible, so I opted for a bold composition and chose to depict plenty of figures. Overall I'm pleased with how it came out, and I hope you enjoy as well.
