Saint George
This was painted for a friend. I wanted to keep the theme similar to how he was depicted in classical paintings, but I did want to go for a more modern look, especially in regards to the attire. The most challenging part of this image was the horse anatomy; I haven't drawn or painted a horse in years, but luckily I received a lot of good feedback in several art forums which was a huge help in rendering it convincingly.
